Laravel 4 (I do not know what it is)

I should have a little problem, for some unknown reason to me is my code duplicates (or whatever you call it) here is a screenshot and what matters is that the $dir appear 2x path to the folder where the images I'm not sure what it actually happening.

PS: I would add that it worked yesterday ... and I'm not sure if I was doing something with it for the whole day.
